NECK PAIN
The neck can be responsible for localised pain, headaches, dizziness and referred pain, often into the back of the shoulder or the shoulder blade. The majority of the time this has its origin in the neck. Pain, tingling, numbness or Pins & Needles down the arm can also be caused by problems in the neck. Common causes are again Posture, Facet Joints and the Inter-Vertebral Discs. Stiffness in one segment of the spine can lead to excess strain on other parts, leading to pain. Early assessment and treatment can help to reduce the pain and return you to normal function. Mobilisations, education, postural awareness, exercises and stretches can aid a full recovery.
